Biography
Dr. Mainak Ghosh received his Ph.D. from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, in 2024. He subsequently served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA) under the supervision of Prof. Sebastien Palcoux. In June 2026, Dr. Ghosh joined the Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (HIMIS) as an Assistant Professor. His research interests lie within the broad area of operator algebras, with a specific focus on subfactor theory, Frobenius algebras, tensor categories, higher category theory, and related fields.
